Join Us for a Community Iftar:

As the holy month of Ramadan nears the end, the air is filled with anticipation and excitement within our community here at Alsabeel. It's a time of  reflection, increased devotion, and acts of charity. Among the cherished traditions during Ramadan is the breaking of the fast, known as Iftar, which holds a special significance in bringing people together in brotherhood and celebration.

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to all members of our community to join us for a memorable evening of togetherness at our upcoming Community Iftar. This event, taking place on Friday April 5th  a is not only an opportunity to break bread together but also a chance to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that unite us all.

What to Expect:

  1. Breaking the Fast: The Maghrib Athan Will be made at 7:38 so be sure to give yourself ample time.
  2. Maghrib Prayer: As the Iftar is not hosted in the Masjid, Please be sure bring your prayer matts.
  3. Dinner: After Maghrib dinner will be served, you are more than welcome to participate by bringing food or serving food.
  4. Celebrating our Alsabeel Quran School kids: The dinner will feature recitation from students of Alsabeel education program.
  5. Charity: In keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, we encourage attendees to consider making a donation towards our Masjid Purchase.

RSVP and Location Details: We kindly ask that you RSVP for the Community Iftar by  April 4th, to assist us in ensuring an enjoyable experience for all attendees as seats are limited. The event will be held at Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Dr, Rockville, MD 20850, with ample parking available for your convenience.

Conclusion: As we prepare to end  this blessed journey of Ramadan, let us embrace the opportunity to come together as a community, to break bread, share laughter, and strengthen our bonds of friendship and faith. Eid prayer will be held at Alsabeel Community Center ( 6155 Executive Blvd, Rockville, MD 20852) on Sunday 06/16 in chaa Allah. We will start Takbirat at 7:00 am and prayer will begin at 7:30 am.
